WHEN DOES THE OIL FILTER NEED TO BE CHANGED?
Your vehicle’s motor oil and oil filter should be drained and replaced on a regular basis as you follow your car’s maintenance schedule to ensure that internal engine parts are properly lubricated. If you ignore an oil change for too long, it could damage and reduce the lifespan of your engine. Once the motor oil becomes sludge, it no longer lubricates moving parts and does not remove heat the engine. This can lead to a complete engine failure that will require an engine rebuild or a new engine swap. NAPA Gold™ oil filters should be changed every 5,000 to 7,500 miles (8,047km to 12,070km) or at OE-recommended oil change intervals. NAPA Platinum™ oil filters should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles (12,070km to 16,093km) or at OE-recommended oil change intervals.

Cabin Air Filter
The cabin filter cleans the air that comes into the interior of your car through the heating and air conditioning. It filters out dust, pollen, and other airborne particles. If you’ve got a carbon activated cabin filter it also captures exhaust gasses and odours. Having clean air in your car is particularly important if you have any allergies or respiratory problems.

The cabin filter allows you to breathe clean air, by filtering bacteria, pollen, and polluting substances. If you don’t change your cabin filter regularly, you may notice unpleasant odours and could have allergic reactions (sneezing, coughing, etc.)

Oil Filter
The oil filter maintains continuous oil flow and removes particles (dirt, oxidized oil, metallic particles) that may appear in the motor oil due to engine wear. Air Filter
